For as long as wrestling and WWE fans can remember, there have been heels (bad guys) and faces (good guys). The heels are usually the kinds of wrestlers that break the rules and insult the fans and their hometowns. The face will play to the crowd and overcome adversity to defeat the heels. Thankfully, WWE 2K23 does an admirable job of replicating the fans and their reactions to the wrestlers in the ring.
