Much of Genshin Impact's monetary success relies on players purchasing Primogems to convert into wishes for limited-time character and weapons banners. Although Primogems and the Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass are just a couple of sources of income, the free-to-play game could be making more money by investing more resources into other features, one of which is cosmetics such as character skins. The game has already released several alternate outfits for some characters, such as Diluc's Red Dead of Night and Keqing's Opulent Splendor. However, Hoyoverse hasn't made character outfits since the first ones were released in Version 1.6.
