Some of the more recent Star Wars television shows released on Disney+ have received middling reviews, such as The Mandalorian season 3 and The Book of Boba Fett. However, one series that was almost universally well received was Andor, the prequel telling the tale of how Diego Luna’s character from Rogue One became a Rebel hero. Season One of Andor had twelve episodes, more than the rest of the Star Wars shows on the streaming service. Yet it utilized each outing to tell a complete story set between Episodes III and IV. It might not have had the fan service, Easter eggs, and cameos that some of the others shows do, but the story and the way in which it was told clearly resonated with audiences.
