The Zenith is one of the best swords in Terraria but takes effort to get and requires knowledge of how to craft it.

Acquiring the best weapons in Terraria can be very satisfying which is why arguably the best weapon in the game is so difficult to get a hold of. The Zenith is a sword that can only be acquired in Hardmode after beating the Moon Lord.

The power of the sword has the capability of knocking down enemies and killing them in record time, making the rest of an individual's Terraria experience a much easier one. The journey to acquire this sword takes a long time, but it is worth understanding what is needed to create this beast in order for the player to experience it for themselves.

On its own, the Zenith can deal 190 melee damage with a 14 percent chance of getting a critical hit. It can be modified, just like most weapons in the game, and it is at its best when given the Legendary modifier.

When swinging the sword, the sprites of the swords that make up the Zenith will fly towards enemies that are within 20 tiles of the player's cursor. It causes circular arcs that go fast as it rapidly hits enemies. Players can apply autoswing to the Zenith as well, which can lead to even more damage over a shorter period of time.

The sword is made up of 10 other weapons that the player can acquire or create over the course of their Terraria journey. Some are rather easy to obtain while others may require some luck in order to get them. With the 10 swords in hand, the player can use either a Mythril Anvil or an Orichalcum Anvil in order to create the Zenith. The swords that make up the ingredients to this ultimate sword are:

• The Copper Shortsword (Automatically spawned in with the creation of a non-Journey character. Can also be crafted with five copper bars using either an Iron or Lead Anvil).

• The Starfury (Obtained from Azure Crates, Sky Crates, or Skyware Chests that are located in the Floating Islands).

• The Enchanted Sword (98 percent chance of being acquired by destroying the Sword in Stone, which can be found randomly underground and always in an Enchanted Sword Shrine).

• The Bee Keeper (33.33 percent chance of being dropped upon defeating Queen Bee).

• Terra Blade (Crafted by combining a True Excalibur, a Broken Hero Sword, and a True Night's Edge in either a Mythril Anvil or an Orichalcum Anvil).

• The Seedler (11.11 percent chance of being dropped upon defeating Plantera).

• The Horseman's Blade (1.56 to 12.5 percent chance of being dropped upon defeating Pumpking).

• The Influx Waver (16.66 percent chance of being dropped upon defeating the Martian Saucer).

• The Star Wrath (11.11 percent chance of being dropped upon defeating the Moon Lord).

The Meowmere (11.11 percent chance of being dropped upon defeating the Moon Lord).

Of the ten weapons, four of them (The Copper Shortsword, the Starfury, the Enchanted Sword, and the Bee Keeper) can be obtained pre-Hardmode while the other six (The Terra Blade, the Seedler, the Horseman's Blade, the Influx Waver, the Star Wrath, and the Meowmere) are only obtainable once Hardmode begins as certain requirements for each sword needs the world to have transitioned.
