Making a change to the way that Velvet Room social links work could be a big move to help differentiate Persona 6 from its predecessors. As an element that has been consistent over the past few games, having a Social Link with the attendants of the Velvet Room is something that will be expected once Persona 6 comes around. At the same time, it can break a trend that these Social Links have been following in order to keep from seeming too repetitive. In order to do so, Persona 6 will have to come up with some new ideas.
