Reddit user shares realistic Pokemon fan art of Flygon, Venusaur, Ivysaur, and Groudon made using specialized 3D rendering architectural software.

Once again, Pokemon fans have shown how creative they can be when creating fan art. This time, a Reddit user used architectural software to create extremely realistic images of some Pokemon and the result is breathtaking. All three pictures show how it would be like if the world of Pokemon merged into ours, making the images even more endearing.

Although this is not the first time someone has tried to show how some Pokemon would look like if they were real, these realistic depictions are particularly intriguing since they seem to resemble how Pokemon were depicted in the movie Detective Pikachu. Not only are the Pokemon shown in 3D with great attention to detail, but they are also portrayed in real-life sceneries. This makes it easier for fans to picture how their favorite pocket monsters would look in today's world.

The illustrations were made posted on the Pokemon subreddit by user chAcebot and so far it has gained over two thousand upvotes. All three pictures show only one species of Pokemon at a time in an environment that seems to fit its type. The first picture is of a Flygon which is a Ground/Dragon-type in what seems to be a park or a big garden. Next, there is an illustration showing the living room of a modern house from which some Venusaur and Ivysaur can be seen roaming in the garden. Groudon is featured in the last picture in what appears to be a rocky and dry landscape which seems suitable for this Ground-type Pokemon.

In the comments, the creator revealed that the software used to create the images is called Lumion which is a 3D rendering software used by architects. Since Lumion is a software meant to be used for architectural work and it seems to be more on the expensive side, it is unusual to see fan art made with this program. However, using specialized 3D rendering software definitely makes the Pokemon in the images seem even more life-like.

This Pokemon fan art has gained so much attention, other Reddit users have already encouraged the creator to make other Pokemon and post the images to the subreddit. It seems like chAcebot will comply as one of the user's comments states a realistic portrayal of Gyrados is in the works at the moment. In a different comment, chAcebot revealed that there was an attempt to create an image of Gengar which did not turn out as expected, though it may be re-worked for future release. Hopefully, Pokemon fans will get to see more of chAcebot's work soon.
