The recent Genshin Impact event, Lost Riches, allows players to use the Event Shop in order to get one of the three Mini Seelie pets.

Genshin Impact's most recent event, Lost Riches, has just come to a close. Players still have until January 22, 2021, however, to buy items from the event including the Mini Seelie pets.

The Mini Seelie pets are technically considered gadgets in Genshin Impact, but they can be toggled so that normal gadget items can be used as normal. While they could be used during the Lost Riches event to help find more Iron Coins, this feature has ended alongside the event proper.

While there are three different Mini Seelies that players can get from the event store, players can only get one of them. They have the option between Mini Seelie: Dayflower, Mini Seelie: Rose, and Mini Seelie: Curcuma. Each cost 280 Iron Coins from the Event Shop for the Lost Riches event.

Mechanically, there is no difference between Mini Seelie: Dayflower, Mini Seelie: Rose, and Mini Seelie: Curcuma. However, the main thing that will have players wondering what to choose is the color of the Mini Seelie. After all, once players choose, they won't be able to exchange their Mini Seelie for another. The Mini Seelie: Dayflower is a soft light blue color that floats around the player, which occasionally does flips in the air among other idle animations. Those who mainly use Cryo or Hydro element characters may find that this Mini Seelie matches more with their overall aesthetic.

Up next is the Mini Seelie: Rose, which is a pinkish magenta color. It has the same idle animations as the previous Mini Seelie with the only difference being its pink color. Fans of brighter colors may like this Mini Seelie for its cuter appearance. Finally, there is the Mini Seelie: Curcuma. This pet is a pale yellow that uses the same animations as the previous Mini Seelies, and thanks to its color, it stands out very well at night and around dark areas such as caves.

While the Mini Seelie items have no mechanical benefit anymore, certain ones match up better with the color pallets of certain characters. Those who want to focus on this matching aesthetic may be interested in knowing which ones match before choosing which ones they want. For the Mini Seelie: Dayflower, its light blue lets it match with a good number of characters. The blue also resembles the Ameno element colors when an Ameno move is used by a character.

Ganyu is a Cryo character that is adorned with blue hair and blue attacks due to her element. Being a five-star character, her rarity also makes her very popular among fans. Those who do have their hands on her and use her may want Mini Seelie: Dayflower for it being able to match her attacks and aesthetics. On the other hand, Kaeya is a character that players will automatically get as they play through Genshin Impact's story. He will also most likely be most players' first Cryo character, which means that his colors and aesthetics are similar enough to Ganyu that the Mini Seelie: Dayflower remains a good fit.

Venti is an Ameno user that makes plenty of showy animations that reveal his Ameno abilities. While his aesthetic is green to fit along with the theming color of the Ameno element, the lightness of the green helps it go with the Mini Seelie: Dayflower.

There really aren't any characters with pink aesthetics in Genshin Impact. Pink also doesn't seem to be any kind of element color that's been shown as of yet in-game, but this doesn't mean that the Mini Seelie: Rose doesn't go well with any of the released characters. The most obvious choice for a Mini Seelie: Rose is Diona, who is a four-star character and a bow and Cryo user, but is set apart from a large part of the rest of the cast due to her bright pink hair. This hair is the main reason for her being a good match with the Mini Seelie: Rose, giving her just a little more pink.

Another good character that would go with a Mini Seelie: Rose is Genshin Impact's Qiqi. While she is also a Cryo user, there are multiple small parts of her outfit that have pink or magenta details. If players run around as her with the Mini Seelie: Rose, this can help bring these details out. Pinkish details aren't exclusive to Qiqi with Noelle also being a character with these details that can be brought out by the Mini Seelie: Rosa. This Geo and claymore user is adorned with magenta roses, neck tie, and under skirt. The shade of magenta on Noelle is very close to the shade on the Mini Seelie: Rose, making them a wonderful match.

The Mini Seelie: Curcuma is a pale yellow, making it go well with Genshin Impact's many blonde characters and those wearing yellow or golden clothing. With there being so many options, Mini Seelie: Curcuma might be best for indecisive players, as the yellow can go well with mostly anything.

Zhongli is one of the characters that goes extremely well with the Mini Seelie: Curcuma. This is due to the subtle golds in his clothing as well as the yellow underside of his coat tails. Thanks to these details being more on the subtle side, the Mini Seelie: Curcuma has a lot of potential to bring them out with this five-star character, but another good choice is the male Traveler character. While the item would go well with both the female and male Traveler, the increased amounts of yellows on the male Traveler's outfit match with the color of the Mini Seelie: Curcuma.

A four-star hero that definitely goes well with the Mini Seelie: Curcuma's aesthetic is Xiangling. Her outfit is mostly brown with both rusty red and yellow details, but the Mini Seelie has the potential to bring these details out like with Zhongli. With Xiangling also being able to summon her pet panda, Guoba, having players control her alongside the Mini Seelie: Curcuma will give the chef another friend to cook and fight alongside.

Genshin Impact is available now on the App Store, Google Play, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for Switch.
