Cleric Changes in One D&D Explained

One DnD's latest playtest versions provided various changes and additions to the Cleric's features and subclass abilities.

The One DnD playtest is already on its seventh iteration, and it’s implemented various changes to classes like the Cleric. It didn’t receive as many modifications to its core attributes like spell slot amount and proficiency bonuses, unlike other classes. However, it received a rework to one of its signature abilities: Divine Intervention. In the current edition, it lets players call upon their deity for aid, and if they get a d100 roll that’s equal to or below their level, they succeed. Fans wanted this feature to be more reliable, so the One DnD designers added a function that lets players automatically succeed at casting a level 5 (or below) spell.
