Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC pack may have not solved all the questions that players had when they first played through the base game, and despite this leaving a bittersweet taste when rolling credits on The Indigo Disk, it doesn't mean the story is over for this Pokemon generation or the ones it touches the most. There are grounds for Gen 9 games to get more DLC content even after the January 11 epilogue set to introduce Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Mythical Pokemon, but this remains speculation for the moment, if not an unlikely possibility. However, with the many leaks and rumors surrounding Gen 9, and with The Indigo Disk's easter eggs in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Pokemon now has the perfect blueprint to release Johto and Unova games at the same time.
