Since its release in December 2023, Hero Equipment has been a highly impactful and much debated addition to Clash of Clans. The update introduced a new building, the blacksmith, where equipment can be upgraded using three types of ore: shiny (blue), glowy (purple) and starry (gold). Furthermore, there are two rarities of equipment: Common and Epic. Common maxes out at level 18, while Epic can reach level 27.
