Two legendary actors from Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy will be making their return to Tolkien's fantasy setting of Middle Earth to take on the roles of characters in the upcoming animation movie, The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim. Directed by Kenji Kamiyama, who is also the mind behind Ghost in the Shell and Ultraman, and set 183 years before the events chronicled in the original trilogy of films, The War of the Rohirrim will tell the narrative of the ninth King of Rohan, Helm Hammerhand, the last of the original line of succession, as he and his family wage a war against an army of Dunlendings in the stronghold of the Hornburg, a fortress that later becomes known as Helm's Deep.
