There comes a time in Monster Hunter Stories 2 when players must search for 3 missing children as part of the Little Ones Lost quest.

In Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, players will sometimes take on quests that involve searching around various locations. The thing is, there are times when the game will not tell you where the object is exactly, which can cause some players to get lost with no hints as to where to look. One of these quests is called 'Little Ones Lost' and is a main story mission that requires players to enter an area called Wendwood to search for three missing children.

Once players enter the Wendwood area, which will be marked on the map as the main objective, there will be three different locations here that players will need to reach to find the missing kids. The first small hint that the game gives players is to "explore the tall grass." A lot of the grass in Wendwood looks very similar, so this guide will go over how to find the first kid and the other two so that players can easily progress to the next stage of Monster Hunter Stories 2's narrative.

The first lost kid in Monster Hunter Stories 2 will be near some "tall grass," apparently, but for those that are having trouble locating this grass, the map below will show players where to look. It's near the beginning path of Wendwood, and the kid is underneath a cliff. The child should be easy to spot, but players should be careful since many iconic Monster Hunter monsters are walking around waiting to start a fight.

The second lost kid is close to a "huge tree" in Wendwood. The tree in question is located at the map's southern edge, and the kid will be sitting right in front of it.

And for the final lost child in the Little Ones Lost Quest, players need to search near the area's pond, which is just northeast of the huge tree location. The third lost child will be by a wall a little bit south of the pond itself. After the kid is found, the quest will be completed, but only after the player encounters an Arzuros and their baby Arzuros.

Hopefully, this guide helped players figure out how to complete the Little Ones Lost quest. There is a free demo for Monster Hunter Stories 2 out now on Switch for any gamers on the fence about purchasing the game, and progress can be carried over to the full game.
