One of Fortnite's Rift Tour quests requires players to team up with a friend and reach the top 25 in a match five times --here's how to do it fast.

Ariana Grande's Fortnite concert for the Rift Tour event happened over the weekend, and fans got to experience an exciting musical journey through various rifts in the universe. Even though the show dates have passed, there are still some Rift Tour quests to complete to earn XP and extra rewards. One of the Epic quests this week requires Fortnite players to reach top 25 with a friend.

Although most players would immediately assume they would need to reach the top 25 during a battle royale match, that's inaccurate. Fortnite players can also complete this quest by participating in other game modes, making this quest way easier to complete than people might think. By using this short guide, fans can find out how to easily reach top 25 with a friend five times in just a few minutes.

Trying to reach the top 25 five times during a normal battle royale match can take players many attempts and be a time sink; however, players can also work towards this quest by participating in a different Fortnite game mode called "The Pit." If players change the game mode, The Pit should appear on the bottom of the selection screen with the other community-created modes.

Before players hop into The Pit, they should ensure that they have a second person in their party; otherwise, the quest will not be completed.

Enter The Pit game mode and then wait for all 16 players to join up, and once the match begins, players can simply open up the menu and quit the match. If players check out the quests tab again, they should see that entering and leaving the game mode counts as a top 25 win. Since the game mode only has 16 players total, it counts towards the quest, even if players get in last place or quits entirely.

Fortnite players can still go through the entire match if they choose to do so, but it's much faster if they just rinse and repeat the quitting process.

After Fortnite players complete the quest and earn some much-needed XP, they can continue to complete other quests for the week or perhaps search for the latest batch of Alien Artifacts. The Alien Artifacts for week 9 dropped late last week, and the next ones are coming later this week.

Fortnite is currently available as a free-to-play game on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
