Destiny 2 is a complicated game with a ton of content and different gameplay mechanics all working together to create the whole picture. While Bungie comes up with plenty of great ideas to improve the Destiny 2 experience, sometimes the fanbase comes up with quality of life improvements to make the whole game even slightly better. The latest fan suggested change to Destiny 2 has to do with bounties, and while it may not seem like a big deal to some, it would definitely save time in the long run.
In Destiny 2, players are able to collect bounties tied to the various game modes, vendors, and more. The Destiny 2 bounties challenge players to get kills with certain weapons, loot Lost Sector chests, and complete a whole host of other activities. Destiny 2 bounties can be collected directly from the person giving them out, but the far more convenient way to collect them is using the Destiny 2 app.

Players can't collect new Destiny 2 bounties from the app unless they're in orbit, so they often grab them all in bulk for whatever activities that they plan on completing during that gaming session. As soon as they collect all of their bounties, though, their Quest tab will glow, indicating that there is something new for Guardians to see there.
Hey Bungie, You are not going to believe this, but you don’t have to flash those new Bounties I just picked up. I know they’re new, because I just picked them up. from DestinyTheGame
The Destiny 2 bounties will keep glowing until players have moved their cursor over all of the time. This only takes a few seconds, but it seems unecessary, as pointed out by Reddit user prk6em. After all, Destiny 2 players don't need to be notified that they have new bounties in their inventory because they are the ones that literally just accepted the bounties. Considering this, fans have suggested that Bungie make it so the bounties don't glow at all after they've been collected as there doesn't seem to be a real purpose for it.
Other Destiny 2 players have offered different solutions, like having a "mark all as seen" button. This is a common feature in loot-based games like Destiny 2, and it seems like a no-brainer feature. Not only would this help Destiny 2 players be able to easily mark all their bounties as seen, but it would allow them to do the same with the collectibles and other items that they've amassed through their time playing the game as well.
Whether or not Destiny 2 will implement this quality of life improvement remains to be seen, but it definitely seems like something that would be well-received by fans. In the meantime, fans of the game continue checking out Destiny 2's Season of the Lost and the new content that it's brought to the table.
Destiny 2 is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
