With the game's release just around the corner, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has spent plenty of time clueing players into what they can expect when the nostalgic fighting game launches on October 5, releasing various character showcases highlighting its roster. From the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to SpongeBob SquarePants, the short videos have seen Ludosity Fair Play Labs detail move sets, specials, stages, and more, and luckily for fans of the upcoming title, the team has just dropped the latest addition to the lineup.
Posted over on the GameMill Entertainment YouTube channel, the new showcase offers a comprehensive rundown of Nigel Thornberry, offering an early glimpse at the eccentric Wild Thornberrys' star's fighting style and key abilities. Alongside the debut, the clip also provides a fresh look at the character's jungle-based stage, which is known as Wild Waterfall.

The trailer begins by highlighting some of Nigel's basic moves, with the clip's narrator noting that, while he's slower than other Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl roster members, he's a powerful fighter that can deal high damage and knockback. His light moves contain the "Presenting: Nature" attack, which sees Nigel strike opponents with his palm, and the mosquito clap, which lets him quickly smack opponents above him.
He can also swoop into opponents using his aerial "Falcon Dive" light down attack and hit opponents twice using his light neutral "Woodpecker" air move. As for Nigel's strong attacks, the fighter will be able to mimic animals to unleash some brutal strikes, including a powerful "Orangutan Punch," a "Bull Horns" charge, and a nasty "Scorpion Sting" kick. They'll allegedly be quite slow but offer plenty of knockback, making them handy for players looking to deal lots of damage.
Finally, players will be able to make use of some special attacks, including a handy dodge known as "The Worm." The defensive ability allows Thornberry to slither past nearby opponents and become invincible to attacks while the move is in effect. As for his up special, it's titled "Whale Crash," and is a powerful finisher that sees Nigel leap into the air and crash down on opponents. Meanwhile, his down special is called "Smashing," and sees the character execute a sensationally powerful flick that can end opponents quickly. It allegedly has a tiny hitbox and traps players in a punishable animation if missed, meaning it'll pose a risk vs reward scenario.
Nigel's showcase joins a pretty extensive gallery of other move set breakdowns available over on GameMill Entertainment's channel, with other fighters featured including SpongeBob SquarePants, CatDog, April O'Neal, and Danny Phantom. It's now long now until fans can get their hands on the fighting game, with it set to debut next week.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is slated to launch on October 5 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
