Despite the latest 1.3 patch for Cyberpunk 2077, numerous glitches still persist that break the game in hilarious and strange ways.

Since Cyberpunk 2077 received its latest substantial patch, players are paying another visit back to Night City to dabble in chaos, flex their cyber augmentations, and cruise around in many rides the game has to offer. However, as this viral clip will prove, the simple act of putting the pedal to the metal and burning rubber can be a little difficult.

Despite the long awaited 1.3 patch fix for Cyberpunk 2077, roughly nine years of development, plus a budget of $316 million, bugs of both the major and minor variety continue to riddle CD Projekt Red's otherwise impressive Night City. This following glitch seems to rank quite high in terms of unpredictability.

Reddit user BMICK95 recently took to the Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit to share a clip of a glitch plaguing Night City's busy streets. The video in question shows the player speeding across a traffic-heavy freeway in order to reach the start point for the Badlands race. All seems typical at first until the game takes an unexpected nosedive when, after a quick turn around a corner, the road completely disappears, sending BMICK95 falling under the map until total darkness consumes. After a moment, the game automatically reloads the last checkpoint.

Although many in the gaming community consider the PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 to be the buggiest, MICK95 did confirm that they were playing on the Xbox Series X. Thus proving that while CD Projekt Red has been working hard at restoring it to a satisfactory state, immersion-breaking bugs like this prove that the developers still have a while to go before the game is in a completely polished state on all generational platforms.

In the meantime, while the action role-playing video game continues to receive a lot of flak over its glaring faults, to say gamers cannot get enough of the dystopian-neon fused gameplay and visuals would be somewhat of an understatement. After all, some of its more dedicated players have stuck around and expressed their appreciation by producing extraordinarily detailed Cyberpunk 2077 cosplays to articulate their enthusiasm for the game.

Overall, despite the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 is filled with game-breaking bugs, there are gamers still eager to discover more of the game's features. Regardless of whether it's forthcoming hot-fixes or free DLC, it'll be intriguing to see what CD Projekt Red has in store for these devoted fans.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
