With the Battlefield 2042 beta having been out for a few days now, one player has created a trailer featuring the beta's many glitches.

A few years since the last entry in the Battlefield franchise, with the last Battlefield title having been released in 2018, fans are highly anticipating Battlefield 2042. Next month, the massive FPS shooter Battlefield 2042 will be released, and for those curious about the sequel, an open beta for the game ran from October 6th to the 9th.

The announcement of the Battlefield 2042 beta came from a trailer that showcased the stunning next-generation graphics, massive world, and chaotic gameplay. A few days into the beta, however, reports of numerous glitches and bugs have surfaced. One Reddit user has even taken it upon themselves to update the Battlefield 2042 trailer to better-set fan expectations.

The updated Battlefield 2042 trailer comes from Reddit user joseph160 who used various videos from the beta to illustrate the insane number of bugs that have been encountered. What makes the trailer so hilarious apart from the various bugs, is the fact that the original audio from the Battlefield 2042 beta trailer was still being used in the updated version. As a result, the updated video still had an epic and grand feeling to it but was accompanied by bizarre glitches.

The large-scale gameplay of the Battlefield franchise is what has appealed to many players over the years, and Battlefield 2042 looks to continue that. That being said, it’s rare for games as big as this that feature multiplayer to not have glitches or issues with them. As it stands though, it appears as though Battlefield 2042 has a lot more glitches than the average multiplayer game.

Apart from some of the more humorous glitches such as players sinking through the floor, or floating in the sky, the crazy ragdoll physics, and even the weird and random large mouse, players have also complained about Battlefield 2042's constant framerate drops. Although some of the glitches in Battlefield 2042 are quite funny to see happen, framerate drop in an FPS multiplayer title such as this is quite a problem.

Battlefield 2042 is about a month away and has an insane amount of work to accomplish in that short amount of time. Although hilarious, the updated Battlefield 2042 trailer highlights many problems with the upcoming FPS shooter that will need to be addressed before launch. It’ll be interesting to see if Battlefield 2042 ends up being delayed or not.

Battlefield 2042 releases November 19, 2021, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
